It was a moment etched in the annals of labour history today as the newly elected National Executive President of NUPENG, Comrade Salimon Akanni Oladiti, led a powerhouse delegation of Union leaders on a landmark courtesy visit to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the State House, Abuja.

The high-stakes meeting was not just a courtesy—it was a coronation of solidarity. In a powerful display of national recognition, Comrade Oladiti conferred the prestigious Grand Patron Award on His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, symbolizing the unwavering partnership between the Labour force and the Presidency.
Flanked by the Honorable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri; and the full complement of newly elected National Administrative Council members, Comrade Oladiti thanked the President for his bold reforms in the oil and gas industry.
Comrade Oladiti also lauded Mr. President for his support during the successful 6th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference convened in April 2026, pledging the Union’s full support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
