PRESS STATEMENT

The National Leadership of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) heartily rejoice with Mr. Boss Mustapha and Mallam Abba Kyari on their re-appointment as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chief-of-Staff to President respectively.

For the records, the re-appointment of these two top illustrious officials of the government is an unbiased reward and recognition for their diligence, loyalty and patriotism as well as sincerity of purpose which they both offered during President Muhammadu Buhari’s first tenure in office.

It is our firm belief that lessons learnt from their first appointment will come handy and helpful for the realization of the administration’s good intention of taking Nigeria to the Next Level of socio-economic advancement as promised during the electioneering period.

As a socially responsible Union, it our joy to see a flourishing, safe, and investment friendly socio-economic clime accompanied by sound education, robust human capital development, abundant employment opportunities and capacity building initiatives for the youths, good health care system, increase infrastructure development and other basic needs of Nigerians in the next 4 years so that the people can be more united and be a force to be reckoned with in Africa and the world, thankfully President Buhari has magnanimously set the tone.
