NUPENG Patron, Sir Mike Okiro Pays Courtesy Visit To Union’s Leadership
The National President of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Comrade Williams Akporeha recieved in audience, NUPENG National Patron, Sir Mike Okiro [CFR, NPM, Mni] at the Jibowu Secretariat of the Union on Monday, December 9, 2019.
In hand to receive the ex-Police Inspector General apart from the President was the General Secretary of the Union, Comrade Afolabi Olawale who used the ocassion to extoll the virtues of the elder statesman.
Others who officially witnessed the reception of the august visitor included the National Trustee, Comrade Monday Osunde, National Treasurer, Comrade Alex Agwanwor, Deputy General Secretary (Operations), Comrade Otite Onohwohwo, Deputy General Secretary (Admin), Comrade Akpede Christopher.
The rest were, Deputy General Secretary (Finance/Accounts), Comrade Anthony Chukwu, Comrade Adamson Momoh, Principal Assistant General Secretary (Research and Public Affairs) as well as Mrs Onome John (in-house intelligence/security consultant).
Sir Okiro is a man with vast literary acumen and has authored four books of different genre despite the herculean task associated with his chosen career and service to humanity.
